Oh and make sure that when this becomes MMO atleast make sure there's some sort of invisible shield for players who have just started that would last for atleast 1-5 days unless they get killed by natural causes.
Definitely, I hope you guys like the graphical upgrade that GP went through. It did cost us more funding but it was worth it. I mean, look at those jackets!

Regarding the fresh spawn protection, we are brain storming constantly to resolve this. We really want to get rid of the MMO trigger happy condition that people suffer from. Stay frosty on this one.

Confirmed AKs, M4~M16 families with fully functional attachments. I will update you on this as soon as we finalize it. We are really trying to stabilize and test the server at the moment. Sorry that I can't give you more details about this.

We are all new at this so be patient with us. Think of us as fresh spawn noobs. Good thing is that hardware requirements have improved as there aren't that many AI thread calculations now that the game is MMO instead of singleplayer.

Appreciate it, I am uploading a video of me playing(although, this is me playing alone on the server and not the epic dev team battle we had couple days ago) so you should be able see for yourself how it feels. Note that in the video none of the resource gathering and spending to build structures is happening yet. I am still writing codes for them. So right now, all structures are built instantly for free. This should be gone by the time we have public testing.

Oogh, I heard there's a server down for my net, so I can't seem to download faster than 28-40 kbps.
So might not be able to test this build, will try to see a solution for it.

I spent 10 hours going to the capital to get a Visa to go to the US, my ArmA 2 unit disbanded 'cause of dicks, my hard drives are almost totally full, I have a flash video pending to do for next week and I have another two videos which were filmed this week pending editing, plus I haven't had any chance to work on my artistic skills 'cause I'm lazy as ****, but I ate a bacon double patty cheeseburger when I went to the capital, so I got that going for me, which is nice.

Let me tell you fellas, we are almost there. We will be releasing some official stuff and info but I can personally confirm you that we will have the following stuff in the next release (which probably will be available in 3~4 days, I am expecting it to happen this week...but no promises...
:hero

* physics based ballistics
* physics based vehicles (I played a racing sim called Live for Speed and evidently we picked up many elements from that game :)expect some heavy physics stuff!
* crouching but no prone(yet)
* orbit perspective (think ArmA's Alt function to look around)
* Garden of Eden (you will find out...hehe)
* base building
* power management (power generation for powering appliances and lights and etc...)
* farming
* In Game smartphone based functions

here is a brief preview screenies...

this is not an in game screen shot but I think it gives a glimpse of what we meant by base building.

this is the player's perspective during vehicle driving. Steering with the mouse is supported.

Most of the graphical stuff is really WIP, we will probably see an increase as soon as we hire an artist but until then, you guys are stuck with my own stuff and some royalty free stuff mixed...

No worries, the server should be ready for public access in about 1~3 days and will probably take 2 weeks to get it to a stable build...I mean, we are finding and fixing bugs right now like never before...but hey its a different story when it is working in the field...we are ready to be patient and prepared for server crashing bugs so you are not missing much laugh

Right now, the server is up, but only open to developers and some internal testers...
we decided to go with some internal testers because right now the game often crashes from the client side...and we felt that asking people to find bugs is somewhat rude if the game bugs are clearly visible. So once, most obvious bugs are gone, we will ask the eager and the curious members to dig even deeper...and that's our forum guys...
 Content

As for the game itsef, I am really trying to fill the server with players and choke it at this stage to see if it can handle 64 players(the currents limit) and if it handles well we are going to raise the bar until we have something worthy of the MMO title...
so if you have any friends who are into gaming, please feel free to recommend them when the server is ready. That goes for everyone else.
